Ha! That's funny you say that, it's basically brand ****** new. I got it replaced due to rust, on warranty, in 2007. I highly doubt that I'll part it out, I hope to find out more tomorrow when my shop looks at it for an estimate. We went car searching today and found a red P5 for $13K, waaaaayyyy too much. We also found a couple Bimmers for sale, a 540 and 528, that may be the route we take if it is totalled. If I do part it out, I'll let you know about the hatch.

Thanks. I definately know about the rusting hatch. I'm assuming that mine is from the replacement of the rear windshield though. Looks like the car was broken into (I found lots of glass in the spare tire area) and there is lots of rust around the window trim. wish I would have looked closer when I bought the car.

Well, it was totalled out. We did not get a very good offer from the Ins. company. So, does anyone want any parts?!!!? We need to recoup some costs, so parting it out is a possibility. Just need to know what anyone may want to see if it's worth doing.
I've got Dave B's, K&N, black and yellow leather, brembo drilled rotors, a brand new shiny hatch, roof rack, wheels, etc...
