Another newbie v. Just got my Speed3 last night!

So, i'm new to the Mazda world... the power of the MS3 drew me in (and the wife!) Just wanted to say hi.

Got a True Red GT model... and so far i've been loving it!!! I upgrade from my 98 Civic... and what an upgrade it ended up being.

For the record, we originally ordered a red sport model, but when it arrived at the dealership last night, it was a GT.... much to the surprise of the salesman. We ended up getting ~$900 off the GT sticker price, which i understand is relatively unheard of for such a limited and demanded car.

Anyways, I'll be around... asking silly questions about the little things i havent figured out yet.

Actually... first question... what is the proper abbreviation for the Mazdaspeed3? Is it MS3? I've seen other people writing MZ3 or something like that.

Excuse my newb-ness... i should pick it up pretty fast.

MS3= MazdaSpeed3
MZ3=Regular 3 (my guess!) lol congrats on the purchase! post pix when u can!

Welcome onboard and congrats....

Ive seen M3 and MZ3 be used... dont think anyone here will confuse the M3 for the BMW but in other non Mazda forums M3 is normally associated with the BMW

Now go read my post on why red MS3's are fugly...youll soon find out which is the fastest color(lol2)

Welcome. The GT is really worth it to me, for the small price increase in price you get some really nice options.
