Another new owner

We picked up our new 5 last night and are thrilled - it is a 2008 Sport MT in Copper Red. This forum has been a great resource for us. I've been lurking here on and off for the past year or so learning as much as I could about the car and checking in on updates, problems, etc. Thanks to all of you for making this forum the great source of information it is!

Welcome to the Neighborhood! It's amazing how much this place has grown in a year. Nice to see that Mazda brought back the Red 5. I always thought that every Mazda should have a red option for the Zoom Zoom factor.

Thanks, everyone. No pics just yet. I'll be sure to post some right after I get my CX-7 antenna and Zoom-Zoom license plate frames.

For now it looks exactly like pdreds's picture.

congrad dude.. i got the CX-7 antenna on my 5 now.. seems like the reception of radio is not as good.. but it looks a lot better compare to the horse whip antenna that we have on our 5 now.

off topic.. summer is finally here... time to start changing the 5... HID, tinted windows here i come!!! WOOHOO..

I kinda dig the R/C car antenna, just need to add a Jack ball or something to find the 5 in a parking lot. Gas prices be damned, I'm still living int he land of the big SUV (heck, most CUVs and minivans dwarf and hide the 5!)

True, last time it was raining while wife and I were looking for the car at the grocery store. We couldn't see sh&t so we thought we were in the wrong row. Damn Honda Odyssey, didn't let us see anything...
