Ive been lurking around for about 3 weeks getting info on the Speed 3... I cant say my buying experience had gone well though...
Monday i purchased a Sunlight Silver Speed 3... Dealer had to do a trade to get me a Touring Model with Nav... Signed the paper and was told the car would be ready to go on thur... which is today. I got kinda pissed off simply because it shouldnt take 3 freakin days to get a damn car up here from San Diego... turns out, the car at the other dealer was sitting in the service dept with a fried clutch. I than instructed the dealer to find me another, which they did. It arrived this evening at 9PM. This one already has the Nav and Sirius Radio hooked up. All they have do tomorrow is tint the wndows, toss in the lowjack and ill be taking her home.
The dealer experience initially was quite painless. Ive owned quite a few cars in the last 15 yrs and dealing with mazda was the easiest experience ever. However, i dont like be dicked around by a dealer, so im calling the GM first thing in the morning and demanding compensation for my inconvenience... I hope to walk away with some MS parts.
Anyhow, i thank all of you for your insightful information you have provided to make the choice in purchasing one of these cars.. This IS the car the 2006 SVT focus was SUPPOSED to be.(2thumbs)
