Another New Mazda6 Owner...

:
2013 Mazda3 i Sport
Believe it or not... I found a USED one with 2800 on the clock. Blue Mica... GT with the Radar Cruise control and FOW.

Was looking at new, but picked this up for $26K... so I got a loaded GTone for the price of a Touring... which I don't think is a bad deal at all.

So far... it's great, went from a 2012 VW Jetta TDI. The Diesel Engine was great, the rest of the car was simply falling apart, even though it was well kept... had bad welds that had to be fixed, and other issues... 11 visits to the shop in 18 months.

So far this car seems well put together, like it's one piece...

Congrats on your purchase! I doubt you'll have issues like that on your Mazda. Kind of curious why the car is already second hand though.

Enjoy

FYI Touring Auto actually go for 23500 here. GT can be had for 26. At least you got what you wanted.

I'm in California, the TMV at Edmunds is $30,300.. Dealers around here are holding fairly close to that, only "deal" is if you are a current mazda owner ($1K). So finding one with such low miles for $4K off wasn't bad. Inventory here is low, the two Mazda Dealers near me only have a handful of cars, and almost all of them are Platinum colors, which seems to be the least-selling color. I was working on a new one at one dealer, the lowest they'd go it $28,900, for a white car.

Even when I tried going through USAA, the "discount" being offered was about $700 off MSRP... which is about dead on with the Edmunds rate.

I probably would have gone for a Touring with Tech, but they are hard to find in my area.

Well... was t-boned by a red-light-runner on Saturday... passenger door is pushed in about 18" inches, airbags blew... front suspension is broken... Every panel on the right has damage... car called 911 for me (great feature I was hoping to never need).
On the bright side, the Mazda took the hit quite well... but it was a hard hit. Won't know until later in the week how bad the damage is. Police cited the other driver, who admitted fault to them.

Being a new car, I hope it's totalled though, not really wanting to drive a car that took such a big hit and damage like that. If it is, I'll be buying another one.

In what world, exactly, are you living in? Dealer Invoice is $28,500. $28,700 if Soul Red or Snowflake White. Dest Charges are included in this price. Dealers ARE NOT letting the GT go for $2,500-$3,000K under invoiceon 2014 M6s.

Got my Silver GT $28,600 out the door and that's with the SCBS and the MRCC package and they threw in the free maintenance service package... ALWAYS buy your car on the last day of the month and work with the internet sales guys. No fuss, no hidden fees, and no shady fast talker to worry about.
