But as usual, the plan of the libtards backfired on them, and Coulter's speech got nationwide coverage. Coulter's insulting remarks about the killer Ted Kennedy and the other lib Senator Boxer got printed in most newspapers around the country.

Always interesting to see how the loud-mouth uneducated libs who always rant about free speech get upset when people like Ann Coulter exercise their right to free speech.

Why think about issues when I can just pick a party--like I would a football team--and they'll tell me what's right and wrong?

Did you people ever stop to consider that words like "values" were not aligned with politics until the early '70s. Before that, people (on a whole) simply voted for someone based on what they promised, not based on some sort of polititians' pathetic ideal that party unity comes before the people they supposedly represent.

All govenments are liars and murders. They know you care about certian things, and they will exploit that until they get exactly what they want: money and power. The funny thing about this administration is that they don't even really try to cover it up. They **** all but the upper-upper income-tax bracket, fight a war with no actual proven reason, and people wave american flags and put yellow ribbons on their car while Satan himself ***** them in the ass and takes away their benefits.

People like Matty here don't bother me too much. He's merely a soldier who has been programmed through his community to spout this stuff, pump up his chest with his "I AM THE MILTARY, I KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON" bulls***, and continue the cycle of power. Minivan, my little bitsy-pookims, is another story. He cracks me the hell up; actually has the balls to use words like "FACT" and "INTELLIGENCE" in his posts. Also: "libertards?" Nice. Ok, here's the thing that I really just find irreconcilable. People like Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reily, and our very own Matthew talk about how democrats are stupid and they dont know what they're talking about, and blah blah blah, but if you go back and watch any episode of the O'Reily Factor (or Hard Copy, for that matter), or any show Ann has ever appeared on, you'll find that their version of debate is to talk about what they believe, and as soon as someone presents a decenting opinion, they yell as loud as they can about how stupid and wrong the other person is until the dissenter gives up trying to talk, and then they (Ann and Bill) keep on saying what they were already saying.

One of the funniest programs I've ever seen is when Larry King had Ann coulter and some democrat feminist on the show. Ann did the same thing she usually did and just yelled at the other lady whenever she tried to talk, kept calling her a stupid left wing something or other, for a good 20-30 seconds, then you hear Larry, just real quietly in the background say, "Can we cut off her mike please?" And 2 seconds later Ann is sitting there looking like a bully just stole her tricycle, just completely dumbfounded that anyone would have the balls to do something like that to her. And Larry said "Now Ann, if you want to take part in this discussion, you have to be civil about it, and from now on, you have to have permission before you speak or I'm going to cut off your microphone again." And sure enough, for the rest of the show Ann was completely docile and cowed, but clearly itching every second the other woman was talking, waiting for he chance to let her know how quickly she was going to hell.

The whole time I was literally laying on the couch because I was laughing so hard I couldn't sit up. I really believe that was on of televisions greatest moments.

it's OK to refuse to listen to coulter and her ilk b/c they're not there to provide actual viewpoints or spur intelligent debate; their purpose is to get people riled up...it's "entertainment," not unlike, say, opie and anthony or, to a lesser extent, howard stern.

the problem arises when people don't realize that, and think she's actually trying to be a serious, considered source of thought.

ann has a right to speak; the crowd has a right to express its feelings as well. everyone wins. i will mention that when she came to speak at rutgers, she refused to answer questions critical of republican policy (but was more than happy to respond to softball questions), and a friend holding a "go home ann" sign was escorted out.

Yeah, I ******* hate Limbaugh's sorry ass. He once said (in 1996) that everyone in the U.S. who lacked health insurance was an illegal alien in other words only illegals lacked Health coverage. I was pretty offended as I was in college with 2 kids and just my wife working and we sure as hell could not afford it.
Most of them are rich out of touch blowhards. I do kinda of like Savage, and I have one of Ann's books and a signed Hannity book. clinton was, politically, the most centrist president we've had in a long time. that (and his ability to connect with people) was the secret to his success. people tend to forget that b/c of his personal failings.

IMO, it's something the democrats have forgotten; as the GOP has moved farther right, the Dems have moved farther left...when they SHOULD be moving to the middle and recapturing all those moderates (like me) who now don't have anyone to like.
