to answer your quotes, which you have to remember are all to cause reaction ANYHOW:

1) seeing the democrats favor people getting something for nothing and generally get votes from the lowest classes to include illegal immigrants....

2) what is the context of that quote. you cant just pull a random quote and try some kneejerk reaction. notice if you try to google it, you never find out what prompted her to say it, only her quote and people flaming mad about it.

3) the reason she says this, is because women historically tend to vote democrat, and she is just simply offering up a solution to get more republicans in office...naturally being a far right winger, she wants other right wingers in office. this is understandable...just like you want more hilary clintons in office, republicans want more reagans.

4) your point? anorexics are pretty disgusting looking. shes joking, we humans tend to do this.

5) i think the point being made here is that you dont exactly see popes urging christians to go out and blow themselves up to pointedly kill innocent civilians. and dont try to give me some christians killed people in the crusades (which incidently was a retaliation to muslim barbarity) or some other crap. read the military history of afghanistan, or any arab nation and you can see the muslims havent changed since their religion was born. and before this turns into some stupid debate about religion, let me say 1) i am athiest so im not interested in hearing the same old "religous right" bulls*** and 2) obviously not all modern day muslims are like this...however, as i have said countless times here - not enough of the important leaders of the muslim community are DENOUNCING the idiots that make ALL muslims suspect or look bad.


and as for your last sentance...i hate to tell you this, but colleges all over the country are POPULATED and STAFFED with some of the most left wing people in the country. the college system is notorious for their complete and utter left wing slant, like the professor telling students the real freedom in iraq will start when soldiers start turning their guns on their leaders, etc.

the 15k they paid for coulter's speech is nothing compared to the millions they pay ultra-left wing professors each year, so in the same light as your comment i guess you should be outraged at the hiring process of our colleges as well.

Matthew, your comparison of Ann Coulter to Micheal Moore or Howard Dean is false. Moore maybe, but at least he has facts and images to back up what he's saying. Micheal Moore didn't have to invent the Photo of Rumsfeld shaking hands with Saddam Hussain, the right did have to fabricate a picture of John Kerry with Jane Fonda. I doubt the students would have booed a conservative with an ounce of credibility, which Coulter does not have, and not because of her leanings, but because she just makes stuff up. I think that's why I generally believe Democratic pundits over Republician ones(I am a registered Independent). The Progressives tend to have more hard facts and sources, while the Conservatives just seem to have opinions with nothing to back them up. In fact it's usually the opposite, they seem to keep pushing ideas that have been proven wrong. The Iraq war is a perfect example. No matter how you feel personally, you have to admit the Liberal critics were almost 100% right about what's happened.

About her Vetnam quote. I didn't hear the whole thing but I can see where she's coming from. We do home loans and there is a big discount for Vets that served befor 1-1-77 but not be discharged for more than 30yrs. I have vets calling and bitching because the missed the cut by a yr or by a day. THey all ways come back with the I'm a vetman vet! Big ******* deal!
