I've got a Phoenix Gold 100amp circuit breaker currently that I want to use but my friend recommended me to use a ANL fuse holder and fuse instead? What's your thoughts?

Thanks,

-Alan

Ive had really good luck with breakers myself and if something grounds out all you need to do is reset it no changing fuses. Alot faster, you dont have to buy fuses, and ya already got one. What kinda amp you runnin? Now if its somethin smaller you need to get something at a lower amp rating. If your runnin a normal 1000-1200 watt amp it will be fine. PEACE

my amps total out around 800 watts....i am using 4 guage wiring. i appreciate the replys

As long as you don't imedaitly reset the breaker if it blows then they are fine. As long as you take the time to find the problem breakers will save money in the long run.
However I have seen several breakers of various brands freeze up and beome totaly locked, usualy in th eoff position. Either way they were junk at tht point.
