2017 CX-5.
So back when AA first dropped you could use the infotainment dial to scroll, interact, do anything you wanted with unlimited interactions. Over the past couple years, maybe more, when I use Spotify namely, I can only 'interact' with the infotainment dial to scroll / select, move around the menu a certain amount of times, say 15 separate movements or so before it will pause, then beep at you obnoxiously for... " safety " reasons.
I'm kind of desperate at this point and I'm willing to get a little DIY. Whatever I have to do. Jailbreak, even replacing the infotainment with a custom / aftermarket one. I'm prepared to basically do whatever I need to have AA stop messing with the infotainment.
I use both Wired and Wireless Android Auto depending on how far I'm driving etc. I have a Android Auto wireless dongle for that and for when I plug it in, just a regular USB C cable.
Any tricks, workarounds, ideas, no matter how crazy, please tell me. I'm so sick of this
