Amp Set Up

Hello I Just Bougth 2 10inch Soloberic Kickers L5 They Both Have 2 Ohm Voice Coils, I Read The Manual And If I Wire Them Parallel I Will Drop It To 1 Ohm If I Do It In Series It Will Drop It To 4ohms
I Currently Have A Sony X Plod Amp 1600 Watts 800 Rms. 2 Ohm Stable. D Class It Read 1 Channel On The Front Cover.

I Want My Spk To Run @ 2 Ohms. In The Manual It States A Dual 4 Ohm Spk Can Be Droped To 2 Ohms In Parallel And 8 Ohms In Series
Should I Have Goten The Dual 4ohms Or The Ones I Got Wich Are
Dual 2 Ohms.

Also This Amp Canot Be Briged They Told Me To Hook Up Both Spk To Just + - Instead Of +- +- Is This Correct.

Id it's a class D amp there is only 1 channel, there may be 2 sets of speaker terminals, but they're connected inside the amp. The subs you bought are the correct subs for that amp.

wire them like this to present the correct load to your amp:
