Amp Install Through Glove Box

Hey everybody, I'm trying to install 4 AWG wiring, and the route I took with my 8 AWG on the other side is not going to work.

I have seen some people say they removed the glovebox and theres a grommet that the wire can fit through.

Does anyone have a link to a walk-through for this or can give me some advice on how to do this? I'm not real sure on how to remove the glovebox and once I do, where will the wire go from there (I mean, will it be a pain to get the glovebox back in or what not)

Okay, so I got the glovebox out (I thought I was going to break something, but the retention clips finally released)... I have the power cable at the battery now..

Next question : I dont really want to remove the windshield wiper trim and all that.. can I just run the power cable under the edge of it and just put wire loom around it and it be safe from heat, etc.???

That was what I did and it came out fine.

Cool, I went ahead and zip tied and wire loomed it all.. so far so good

I did the same thing jus didn't remove the glove box but had no problems at all.... just didn't zip tie it... Maybe in a few months.
