Amber Instrument Backlighting?

I like the CX-5's spartan, business like, dash. The basic black, with amber lighting, reminds me of my old BMW. However, Mazda decided to backlight all of the instruments with white lighting. The white itself doesn't bug me so much as the miss-match with the rest of the amber lighting. (The Mazda6 went the all white route)

Is it possible to change the instrument lighting to make it amber?

its possible, but it will require delicate solder work. the gauges are back-lit with surface mount LED's.
