Alternator Troubles

Alternator gave up...

Has markings,
"B595, A2TA0791, 12V 70A 4420, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation"
Plug Type / Terminal Markings: "PF"

Much attempts to replace the alternator have proved futile as I cannot source a "PF" plug type replacement.

I'm considering replacing with a,
"BPD3, A2T39291, 12V 80A 6731, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation"
Plug Type / Terminal Markings: "LS"

For this I believe, I will need to eliminate the plug that goes to the harness, thus eliminating the ECU.
Not sure what the results would be like.

Any comments?????
