Alright...VSS

Sorry guys! I have searched the forums relentlessly, and other links but have no definative answer for the VSS wire. I have an 02 Pro ES, and have heard glove box, but also passenger floor towards the center console- orange for automatic on pin 58.... Can anyone give me a sure answer??? Thanks a bunch!!!

Is your Pro 5 an auto or stick? Mine's an auto and not a 5 (whether that matters idk) but it lists as on orange for an auto and that pic has multiple oranges. Thanks for your help though!!! We'll see what happens when mine comes in. The reverse wire, I'm not sure about... I've seen your post on AVIC411, and I plan on just running a wire back to the reverse lights along with my GPS antenna. I did install my own Autopage remote start and alarm by myself a couple years ago, but this VSS wire is just gonna have to be figured out when I get my baby ripped apart...

yeah, i have an auto with the sport shifter. i found the green/red wire so thats what i spliced into. hope its the right one. i'm trying to get the light but i can't figure out which wire is that specific lights.

I guess what you could do is pull the reverse bulb socket, and test both wires for ground. Whichever one of the two grounds, leave alone, and then hook the power wire up with a long lead towards the front of the car, and start probing for continuity. That way you wouldn't be putting the car in and out of reverse to test.
