I know this is not a Protege but the systems is bad ass. 3500 man hours with a cock pit that surrounds the driver after getting into the only seat centered int he car with 5 video screens.

No, it isn't!
That is yet another reason why Steve Brown and Chris Yato are considered the best installers inthe country right now.

They built the Alpine BMW M3, RSX, this car and the Escalade.
I heard through the grapevine that Browns M3 took 2nd in the PRo class at last years IASCA finals. Everyone thought he would get first. Guess what equipment 1st place was using?

They centered the seat, built an amazing custom everything (although ugly) sound system/interior around it, centered the steering wheel as well as the pedals and yet they leave the stock black wiper/turnsignal levers that look completely out of place, wtf?.

Not starting a war here but if you can do better than these 2 guys. I'd like to see it.

NCAL he is not bashing the car, simply wondering why through all that amazing work (which he commeted on) did they leave the standard levers.

Just a question, not a bash.

This isnt other forums, lets not always jump to conclusion that every question is a bash please.

Most likely becuse they were either damn neer impossible to fabricate or they ran out of time.

I would agree with 1st, I spoke with the builders at CES and it was something like 3500 man hours of work.

I especially like the 5 video screens, motorized gauges and the integrated NOS bottles in both doors.

Looks a bit too wild for my tastes.

But yeah, the wiper control is just poor. At least paint the thing. THere's no excuse for it.

Thanx for backing me up REM, that's exactly what I meant. I didn't bash it, I just wonder why go through all that trouble and leave those stock levers?
