Alpine CDA-9856 Info

I just recently bought my 2003.5 MSP and it came with an Alpine CDA-9856 headunit. I took out the headunit to see if there was an aux plug in so I could plug in my iPod. There was none, but I did find what looked like an iPod adapter cable. I attempted to go online and try to find one for my headunit but I've had no luck. If there is anyone who is familiar with Alpine headunits and/or if theres anyone who can tell me how to successfully access the back of my headunit without going to hell and back that would be great.

Im sure Alpine has their proprietary iPod adapter cord, look for one online. I am not sure of any other easier way to access the HU. My deck has a USB that I plug my iphone in with.

nope, not one for that unit sorry. I have that same model or pretty damn close to it. It lacks in features (older unit that came otu with HD radio was just coming out) but its a pretty solid unit.

Edit: Sorry mean to say no USB support for this headunit. You can get ipod support

I just bought a alpine overhead dvd player. It brought my family a lot of fun. My kids just love it.
