alpine cda-9813 trouble

hey everyone, so i turned on my car today and my head unit didnt turn on. check all the power connections from the battery to the head unit, and everything seems to be fine. no fuses blown. is there a chance that my head unit just died? how should i go about testing this? im thinking there might be an internal fuse somewhere in the head unit that couldve blown, is that a possibility? it just seems so bizarre to me that it was working just fine the other day and wont turn on at all today.

any suggestions are welcomed, thanks!

how about the accessory wire that turns on the deck when the ignition is switched on? you can also try the deck in a friends car.

wire came loose.

Id use a multimeter to verify every wire at the radios harness.

Check the fuse on the deck. Its located on the deck harness in this greyish/black box. I belive the yellow wire connects to it.

if theres no grey box on the power wire, the fuse will be above the plug for the wire harness on the back of the deck. depending how the alpine wires were connected to the factory ones, you may have a short. make sure theres no bare wires or nothing came loose
