Now if you're lazy black is not the color for you.

Not necessarily lazy, just not what I want to spend my time on. I had a black 300M for several years and was always annoyed with the 15-30 minutes I would have to spend on it nightly. If you enjoy that time, then there is no better color then black. Personally, I would rather spend the time on other things.

I'm certaintly not lazy. However, the car does sit outside underneath a car port. My parents live about 20 minutes away so I could always go there and detail it. I've got this folder of MS3 pictures and I have been finding some sick Black Mica shots.

My friends opinion is:

Black Mica and Metro Gray hide the body lines of the MS3.
Crystal White Pearl and True Red show the accents along the side.

My opinion is:

CWP looks good overall, but I'd honestly have to see it in person. I love Red but don't like how it fades over time and it truely is a cop magnet. Not ready to tarnish my perfect record. Black looks gorgeous but is a total PITA (of course this is from what I hear) and Metro Gray is something I used to consider "Depressing Gray" but I could be wrong if it looks more black than that nasty gray on the normal Mazda 3.

I think they all look good, and I WISH they would have kept Cosmic Blue.

and I completely agree with what your friend says, my thoughts exactly.

I'm not sure why I make this so difficult for myself. I'm gonna love it no matter what color I get, I'm sure.

It's a shame there's only a few color choices, and red is the only "bright" one...

It's kind of depressing when I get the 32nd story view of the parking lots here....lots of silver, a good portion of black (and other dark colors), and a smattering of white. Colors like red/yellow/blue are poorly represented--lots of sheep here >.>
I kinda miss having a Bright Calypso Metallic Green Ranger (PM/M6599).

Had I bought a MS3 instead of the Mz3, it would've been Cosmic Blue.

I pick it up next Wednesday. Now on to figuring if the iPod thingy is worth getting, on to the Audio section!

Well I got the dreadful call today: my car is in.

Wonder why it's dreadful? A) I can't get it yet, and B) I haven't even decided if thats the color or not!! I called and asked if there were any Metro Gray to see but he had none. So it's between red and white for me. I'll post my decision when I go look at the CWP in person tomorrow.

Yeah I'll take my Sony N1 with me and snap a few shots. And not to dog everyone's photo skills, but if the car's clean, you can count on some better pictures. Otherwise, whatever color I get, stay tuned for the SLR shots once the weather breaks.

What sucks is, I won't be able to get the car until atleast the 2nd week of April. My lease swap won't be finished until atleast April 4th or so. Luckily, that's the whole point of my deposit is so no one will be driving the car all over the place on test drives.

So I went to the dealer today to look at my car. While he went to get it, I was staring at two True Red MS3's (08's, not 08.5's). I was totally drooling and thinking in my head "Man..screw it, I love red so much." That's when out of the corner of my eye, I see my Crystal White Pearl GT pulling up. Despite the fact it was dirty, despite the fact that it was so damn cold outside, I fell instantly in love. This car is absolutely gorgeous in CWP! And the interior is absolutely amazing.

All those nay-sayers about finger prints, I tried and it doesn't show. Unless your fingers are naturally greasier than McDonalds. I'm tryin to get my upload space to work so I'll have some pictures real soon!

Okay, so i'm not going to post pictures of the interior. If you've seen one, you've seen them all really. All i'll say is i'm extremely impressed with the interior.

Unfortunately, I couldn't take more pictures. It was WAY too cold, and the car wasn't even clean. So i'll give ya what I got.

And a question -- How can the car 9 miles, but the trip odometer only has 2.9? Who would drive it for 6.1 miles, then reset the trip odo? And where the hell could it go for 6 miles?

Mine had 22 miles on it when I picked it up. I guess it was test driven a several times.
