Allignment Issue?

I recently got an '03 MSP and it has GC Coilovers with Eibach springs. I noticed that the steering is very touchy and somewhat hard to handle. Also when I turn it doesn't self correct itself. It will continue going in the direction that I point it even if I have the wheel turned. I'm fairly sure it is an allignment issue but I would like to confirm that before I take it to a shop. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to get an alignment. Anytime you change the suspension, something is going to be out of spec.

When I bought the car it already had the coilovers on them. I just assumed he would of had it done already. I am wondering if these are some common issues that are associated with allignment problem and lowering a car. The dealer pawned it off on me as saying it has custom steering on it which i new was b.s.

I know when i change out my suspension, it'll act just as you described. So an alignment is in your best interest

your caster angle is what helps center the steering wheel after a turn. that is not an adjustable angle able being that it normally never is changed. and when i see a car with the issues your describing, the car was usually wrecked and pieced back together. but i'd rec taking it to a shop and tell them the situation and have them check it out for you before anything
