All Wheel Drive Mazdaspeed 3

lol. Yeah well we don't have the SVX anymore, it's way too expensive to mod because everything has to be custom made. I would love to get a bug eye STI, they make me very happy.

Yeah, that's by far my favorite body style. I looked at one before the MS3 but they wanted way too much for it.

This should be your favorite bodystyle 22B Impreza...needs bigger wheels though...:-P

Just add fogs. yummm.

Hmmm yeah I almost bought one just like that in white too but decided on the speed instead...I found a pristine one too with 15,000 miles for like 22,000...but it was modded :( so you knwo it was ragged on. Plus early STi's had problems with first gear synchros....

DG car built by AWR Racing

I have been following the development of several of these conversions since the cars came out here in the USA. I believe that this car was built by Tony at AWR Racing. Or AWR has their own car but the info I get from both companies imply that it is same car.

Note the stock Mazdaspeed 3 rear suspension!!! We are doing our own conversions for a couple customers though one is on the back burner while client tries to raise more funds.

The JDM AWD car will solve the fuel tank issue. DG's car went with the simplest solution to get the car running. I would expect a more polished conversion to be available within the year.

Making it would cost soooo much more dough though. Whatever they decide to use I'm sure will be a supurb handeling car, these are very good and I can only see improvement.

AWD conversion FACTS

If you goto the ************ and search the topic "what subframe fits the mazdaspeed 3" you will find the details of the AWD conversions being done as well as the RWD conversion we are working on.

It is not that expensive and not that difficult to do the conversion. Remember the Mazda 3 is available in Japan with AWD already but using the 2.0L engine with the autobox trani.

The entire rear suspension, fuel tank, and drive line can be purchased from Japan.

We have two customers conversions in the works plus our own two cars, though we are taking our time and going over every possible detail including digitally scanning the MS3 and drivetrain components from various other Mazda models to determine the best and simplest method to offer conversion kits.
