All-New Toyota Venza Crossover Sedan To Premiere In Detroit

There is even a Mazda5 MPV competitor based on the Avensis.

You Wish... LOL. Is it based on the Avensis? Oh well, I learn something everyday...

It's not a wagon it's a crossover, the Legacy looks like a clump of s***.

Also its .3 inches of difference, not much at all, but we're not talking about the Outback, which is clearly like the XC70.(around 8.X of clearance)

This however, looks, and sits like a Wagon.

You said that crossovers have more ground clearance than wagons. The Outback and the XC70 are clearly wagons and have more ground clearance than your CX-7. Logically, it would follow that the CX-7 is a wagon.

no more arguing about wagons and the CX-7.

Remember SUVs and Minivans replaced wagons back in the 80s and on. So they are basically a wagon.

I said most(impreza), and, the styling sets them apart too, they do not look a like at all.

CX-7 is not a Wagon, this is.

Boo! Agreed, though. It's only likely to stay civil for so long.

It's all just marketing hype because the American consumer is afraid of the "wagon" label...and I'm done.

Styling doesn't define anything?
Why, yes it does!

Corolla looks like an Economy Compact Toy, and the M5 looks like a BMW, I would hardly call them both the same, even if they are both sedans, they're not the same size and they're not in the same class.

Call it what you want. This is going nowhere.

They're totally different, the styling( looks nothing like a Wagon ), seating position (most likely) and the ground clearance for one.

The only thing that makes the CX-7 comparable to a wagon is the fact that most both have Unibody construction.

No the CX-7 is not a wagon, this however offers absolutely nothing over the Impreza Wagon, and Mazda6 Wagon.
My point is..The styling of this is no closer to a wagon than your CX7....They are both Crossover Type SUV's and both look the part.
I say they are new age SUV's..I mean , seriously...What make you consider it a wagon at all....Surely not its shape?
It has ground clearance a car doesnt have...so does your mazda.....?

Calling the toyota a wagon would require you to call the CX7 a wagon.

I think neither are wagons.

Lets see..Here's a pic of a CX7....3/4 shot...

And the Toyota....

Striking Resembalance in shape if you ask me.
The toyota is tad longer and a slightly lower roofline..But the pics tell all.

Anyways..............
Agreed..
I just figured Pic comparison would tell the tale....

Carry on...

Its still not very Visually appealing....But I think If the grill and wheels were changed..It wouldn't look too bad.
