All Mazda Meet at Orange County Choppers May 2-3 2009

I have a couple sets, just gotta find them lol, they are the ones that have the 2-3mile range (or advertised to have that, w/the hills its closer to 1-2miles). but they are fun, I'll try to find a couple and bring them along

but slug just let me know if you if you have it, so you can call me when your about 1/2 way to danbury or so, if anything I can just give you a call around 9:30 to check. thanks, can't wait, hopefully this weekend I can make some big progress on installing some parts!

2-WAY RADIO'S FTW!(mswerd)

speed6 got the hook up fo me and him for the 2 way radios. def ftw. i had some on my ride to MA when i moved back from FL and it was awesome. way easier than getting on the cell to say simple things like "hey check that out!" or something along the lines. small talk. "hey...watch this honda catch up to me when his vtec kicks in!" hahaha

i bought some nice 2-ways back in the old NEPOC days...then they got destroyed 4wheeling....and now i have none :)

I need to buy new batteries for mine. I'll do that this weekend hopefully

ya those are pretty good, I think they are .. ya what reitrof said, both are pretty good, I have 2 that I got a while ago, then someone left a pair over my house from using them with paintball lol, both are pretty good and I think both are motorola, been working for years

What channel do people usually use, for some reason i remember someone saying 23... but my cheapos only go to 22.

ya I was going to ask that a little later, I forgot what channel i usually use, it was low like 9 i think, and the ones that I have have subchannels that are represented by codes, don't know if you guys have those too, it's been a couple years since I've used them, gotta find them this weekend, probably in some box in the basement hidden away haha

I just picked up a 20-30 dollar set at Wal-Mart. I'm not looking for anything fancy or high-end. Just something to get the job done.

Motorola ones are good though. If I remember right they were the first ones to come out with these 10+ yrs ago.

I think I have Cobra now from wal-mart. Just seeing if it's worth buying batteries or just buy new.
