Aren't the new RX-8 rims 19"? I wonder if the new SPEED3 rims will be the same or if they will be 18" again.

i'm trying to find the article again, right when i saw this thread i googled 2010 mazdaspeed 3 ? and one of the articles, said it would be the 2.5L motor rated @300hp 302tq

As expected the latest RS model will feature a new kinetic-designed front end with an aggressively styled bumper, a pair of bonnet vents and a confirmed 300hp (224kW) 302lb-ft (410Nm) output. With these kinds of numbers, the car should be able to accelerate from 0-100km/h in less than six seconds and reach a targeted top speed of more than 260km/h.
so either that or a reworked 2.3L disi @300 is going in, so either way we will be @ the 300 mark

at least you got the mp3 deck and a white color option.
i waited until 2008's came out to buy mine since i figured it would be a 2yr run like always. when white wasn't offered, i finally went to the dealer and got my car, then 1 mos later, they announced the 08.5 models with white and metro grey + mp3 deck + alcantera
RX-8 rims are 18", just the special edition RS has 19" rims.
that's the same thing i said to myself when they added white to the color line-up only a few months after i bought mine. don't get me wrong, the blue has grown on me, but have been tempted to trade it on a white one. Now I'll be tempted to buy these ones lol.
Good stuff. Mazda finally found a winner to keep the mazdaspeed badge on for years to come. I'm really hoping it will be awd this time, but then again i've heard incredible things about the Focus RS with a similar FWD package. 300hp is great an all, but with the current model that is really easy to obtain with CAI/exhaust. I think an AWD MS3 would really blow the competition out of the water with this power setup. AWD please mazda!
And Mazda please do away with the power limited first few gears. If I'm buying a car with all that power I at least want to be able to use all of it in every gear.
