alignment issue

I know that you use a camber kit for the rear of the car, how do you align the fron, will the alignment shop know what do do?

The front camber and caster should be fine. The only thing that should need to be adjusted (and the only thing you can adjust) is toe.

Sounds like too much toe out. Did you have it aligned?

If the insides of the tires were worn, wouldn't that mean he has too much negative camber? And wouldn't too much toe cause "feathering" instead? Don't want to argue, just trying to understand this stuff. :)

Excessive wear on the front tires could be from either toe out or negative camber. Since the front camber on the Mazda3 is not adjustable and does not change significantly when lowering, I am inclined to believe it is a problem with toe.
If the front camber is off enough to cause tire wear, then it can only be because of broken components.

Get it aligned and you'll know for sure.

If you can't adjust rear camber, then what are those two offset adjustment "disks" on the center bar (where the lower arm pivots)? To my untrained eye, it looks like you just loosen the nut and turn that disk. Am I wrong?

Those are for rear toe. Camber has to be adjusted with the upper arm.
