Alarm???

I have a couple of questions. If the alarm system is fully armed when i lock it the lights should blink twice shouldn't they. Also when the system is armed the red light on the gauge bezil surround should blink also. Well when i lock my car they only blink once adn the red light doesn't do anything... I was wondering how you fully arm the system? I think it may be in the pre-armed mode, but i'm not sure.

well the lights flash once when you arm the system and twice when you disarm.. secondly the led should flash when it's armed.. if it isn't flashing it seems you aren't arming or there is a burned out LED or your brain is bad.. it can be all of the above or one of the above or something else.. but those are a few things to start with
