One press of the lock button locks the doors. Two presses will also sound the horn and arm the security system (if you have it installed). The fob also provides you with a red "panic" button to sound the horn in case you are accosted somewhere.
That's what I get for not double checking the manual before answering. Though, reason I was looking at the stock alarm system was that, I thought it would be easier to install consider I have the stock keyless entry. Also, IMO think the stock keyless entry is nice, small and simple.
However, I sure will look into aftermarket alarm system as well.
