Hello fellow MSP owners,
Could anyone help me with this if you know the correct answer? You know, MSP already has a factory Code alarm and I'm pretty satisfied with it. However, I definitely want to install a remote starter.
1) Can I just install a starter with the existing Code alarm? If yes, will I be able to use the existing remote to unlock the door when the engine has been started by the starter? The problem is, I found that the unlock and lock function of the remote is diabled after I started the engine with the key.
2) In case I need to install a whole new one, I would like to install one with starter, timer and pager. How much are those including labour? What do you suggest for brand?
3) In case I install a whole new one, can I re-install the existing Code alarm to my other car (no alarm at all). It is a Susuki Esteem. I heard people saying that factory alarm is hard to switch to another car because of the adaptor thing.
