Airbag Light?

One night about a week ago I noticed the light in the lower right hand corner, it looks like an airbag light, or maybe power steering or something, I have never seen anything like it. So my first question is what is it?

I thought it was just a one time thing, and then it started again 2 days ago. It is just a random blinking, not timed and not constant, and it can be very rapid...it almost seems like something is loose. What is going on?

Can anyone help me?

I was reading my wiring digram and found something you might want to look into. Did your aig bag deploy?

SAS CONTROL MODULE:

Monitors shock level when collisions occur. Also, monitors air bag electrical system components and connections to prevent mis-operation or no operation of the air bag.

For vehicles with a single point sensor (no side air bags), once an air bag module is deployed due to an accident or other causes, the SAS control module must be replaced with a new one even if the used one does not have any external signs of damage. It may have been damaged internally. It is located deep in the center console under the radio and A/C controls. Take it to the dealer for a diagnostics check if you continue to get the CEL.

If your air bag did not deploy forget all the hot air above:confused:

I'm gonna have to take it back to the shop, I'll get it checked out when I get my bumper fixed. The front bumper was not bad at all, someone backed into me on a driveway, and it was over 6 months ago. The airbag never deployed.

Well it's a good thing I didn't put on my turbo yet, I should prolly take it in before I do that :) Since it is most likely a defecty or elecrtical thing I'm sure they won't give my a problem about any of my modest mods...do you?

If the mod does not cause the problem you dont have a problem:D Warranty is intact.

Mods or no, get that thing back to the shop or better yet the dealership. That light is there to tell you that you have a problem with your airbag. Plain and simple. That's NOT GOOD! I'm positive that any dealership has a very liberal policy when it comes to fixing anything connected to the airbag...
