Airbag light on the instrument cluster? If this is the case it most likely means that you have a bad SRS module and will have to take it to the dealership to have it replaced.

Me too !!!

Just got a new 2010 Mazda 3 It had 40 miles on it and the dealer said it was new. I wonder how new ? Anyway .same thing . after 400 miles the air bag light is always on. I am going to the dealer tomorrow and hope they fix it right. Let me know what you did and I will let you know what the dealer did.

All airbag systems have a backup power supply. These power supplies can remain 'hot' for up to 20 minutes after the primary power supply is disconnected. Airbags are certainly a welcome addition for motorists and passengers alike, providing valuable protection in harmful situations when proper safety guidelines are adhered to.
