Your intake setup looks really good.
Did you consider any sort of pre-filter under the kick panel, or just decide to go with the bypass only? I have a k&n pre-filter on my four wheeler that seems to work really well against water, mud, ect. and have thought about using it in conjuction with the kit you have installed. Anyways, Looks great!

The scoop is shapped like a globe and does not allow a whole lot of water past itself. Since it is a globe most of the air hits the inside wall (acts as a collector for the water. I am sure it would not work if I submerged it j/k. For everyday it works great other than what I have said above it is dependant on the Bypass. If the engineer that developed it would let Road and Track put his NSX on a dyno and let them submerge the filter with his car in 4th at 6500 RPM, that is good enough for me. I have 1000 miles with it on no problems rain or shine. Thanks for the compliment
The CAI is Injen, I have a tornado after the MAS, with an AEM bypass filter before the MAS, and a custom scoop all of the above $300 still under MHP's CAI. I do not sell them but I can help you with the install. This is a good mod if you plan on adding a turbo or supercharger although some mods will have to be made. Just click on the website icon th go see where I have posted my pics, more to come plus a much better website I just was in a hurry to post the pics.
I was looking at the engine comp of a P5 today and I noticed that in order to get the intake down in the wheel well, you have to move a reservoir. Is that a problem? Also, that whole plastic stock "CAI" thingee that mounts above the radiator; that comes off right? Ugly as all sin that thing is.
Yea you have to move the coolant overflow reservoir, it is not a problem just flip the bracket around and mount it on one of the extra holes in the chassis. Yes the whole intake comes off except for one part which helps hold the radiator in place.
Cool everyone..... I got a ractive intake today..... finally they make one for our pro5. it is good..... beside the sound..... the power really inproved. I will post some pic soon
JCWhitney on sale for $50. You need to put it right after the MAS between the MAS and the throttle body. The 2.5" fits just fine with the fleared Injen pipe.
after listing and reading abou it that tornado is garbage along with the spiral max just a big scam many have bought into. Do yall really think this little thing that turns adds hp. hmm i dont think so just a waste of money.
