Air Intake Noise

Hi All,

Sorry in advance if this is allready posted. But i cant seem to find anything post about this exact problem.

But i resently bought a Mazda 3 4 doors, 1.6 aut. Gear year 2004. And ever since i bought the car, whenever the speed gets near 80 km/h "about 50 miles/H" I get som noise
from the air intake on the dashboard.

Does anyone know what the problem could be, plz. don hesitate to pm, or write.

what exactly do you mean by noise from the air intake on the dashboard??

Well, when the speed is gettin near 50 m/h it sounds like there is an open window in the car. But the sound comes from the air fan under the front window.

hmm. thats wierd. what kind of intake do you have? maybe sucking way to much air? i can hear my car sucking air in 1st threw 3rd but otherwise i'm not sure what that could be. i'll think on it and get back to u if i come up with anything
