Air Fuel Ratio off, Pressure Regulator Circuit low...Help (2007 CX-7)

I have a 2007 Cx7 2wd turbo. The issue with the car is that lately it has been using up more fuel than usual. the OBD scanner states that the fuel pressure regulator circuit is low. Any ideas on how to fix the above issue? I'm suspecting the air fuel ratios are off and the car is having a ruch fuel mixture but have no idea where to start on the issue. Anyone?
