Ok I have matted the metal part of the rear deck, however when I put the dash part back on it still rattles like crazy. The deck is flexing so much that it is causing the plastic dash part to slap against the rear windshield, it is rattling all over as well.

Is there no end? How much do you think it would cost to have someone fiberglass me a nice rear dash?

I can't imagine that you couldn't do it yourself if you really wanted to. :p

As for the flexing and stuff...i think your name says all I needed to know about why! (lol2)

--EDIT--
Holy double negative, Batman! What I meant to say was that you can do it yourself for a ton less. Probably 75-100$ for fiberglass materials and possibly even the bondo if you make it kinda thin. Then you need to paint it, etcetra...you could do it for about 150-200$ tops...I doubt you'd get a shop to do it for that little.

hey all I'm going in for new front bushings and rear bushings + also they will look at the rattle, i'll let u know what they do, if anything =)

god, how many times do i have to tell everyone:

WEATHER STRIPPING!!!!!

it works wonders, and it cheap as hell. did more for stopping the rattling of my rear deck than dynamat did:rolleyes: course i've got hairline fractures on the bottom edge of my back window, so i've left my rear deck out, cause i don't want to chance the extra pressure causing it to break:( just line the back edge that meets the glass with thin weather stripping, and around the 3rd brake light, if you have one;)
