also smuggler i dunno if its an issue with just the msp ecu or what but i havent seen a s-afc or emanage or other style of "piggyback" setup to work on the msp

well, greddy isn't exactly "accomodating" when it comes time for you to call for help. if you ever do need to call over there, the only guy to talk to is Matt. he knows his s***.


as far as an AFC not working on one of these cars, I don't know why.. they are a universal system.

it works...issue is they dont hold the tune.....like the sti and wrx have issues with their ecu's "learning" or adapting to the altered signals the piggyback is sending to them...they either revert back to pre set maps stored on the board or alter the curves to their likely...either way the ecu basiclaly says "**** u piggyback" and ignores anything that is recieved.....same boat like what happen to hill and the utec along with a buddy and his e-mamange try on a wrx......its the ecu thats a pita...

bump.... I think the ecu thing is a myth, and I'm sure if we call mazda they wouldn't tell us anyway. What should we do? Thiink we should still wait till the summer before trying anything?

im leanin towards the corksport computer...if u can tune it urself im sold...but it hink its a chip type of ecu upgrade...but it comes with a ebc so its a good value
