Aggressive fitment anyone?!

I'll give you what I know, all on stock suspension aside from spool front springs:
215/45/17 +40 rubs rear fenders, solvable by a fender roll.
205/50/17 +40 clears (fender may have been a little rolled from fitment above)
225/45/16 +47 clears in the rear unless you have 3 fatasses in the back seat (2 passengers ~200 each was a non-issue)
245/45/16 +47 clears in the front except minor rubbing on full-lock

and all this really depends on how low you are too, i know for a fact that 205/50/17 did NOT clear my fenders and i was at +48
i had to roll them flat and i still get some rubbing in hard cornering

either your alignment was completely ******, or there is a LOT less clearance on a P5 than a sedan.. I'm running a 225 tire at 47 offset, and like I said, I don't have clearance issues until I'm basically sitting on the bump stops.

Too many factors to make an apples to apples fitment guide.

I don't get why you were rubbing @ that offset tho. Unless you had your coilovers bottomed out maybe?

I just wanted to say something.. I run 17x7.5 +50 soon to be +45 whenevr i get my spacers on 205/40/17 and -2 degrees of camber all around...o ya and slammed to the ground.. i rub on bumps, turns and truns with bumps, dips in the roads ect..and i rub on the actual fender...actually i rub EVERYWHERE.. thus is the life

I have 18x8 48mm offset with 215/35/18's in the rear fenders rolled no rubbing at all and I test fitted my fronts 225/35/18 to the rear for a couple of days with absolutely no rubbing. I'll be putting 235/40's in the front eventually.

I think you need some camber bolts or slot your strut in the top hub mount hole to get a bit more camber.

you can't really add camber unless you lower offset, or you'll contact the strut.

I guess thats the advantage with coilovers then...a bit more clearance maybe. I have very close to -2degrees in the rear.

He's got room to increase camber. Especially after he adds a 5mm spacer.

Twis, I don't get how you rub the fender so much with that offset. Even if you are dumped, that doesn't change where the fender is... What coilovers do you run? They don't seem to be very stiff, lol. I feel like your coils are blown, lol...

I think he means he's low enough to rub the fender tub, not the lip.

and yeah, I'd imagine the coilovers afford more clearnace. The first place that contacts on the stock struts is the part of the strut body which mounts to the spindle. I'd bet that the place where this contacts for me (reminder, I'm on 16s, so for larger diameters this is also probably less of an issue) doesn't even exist on coilovers.

I have the BC coilovers and beleive me...they are VERY STIFF.. i even have all my fenders rolled to the max and have removed some of the inner fender liner.. i will take pictures of where i rub.. i rub straight frame..and proud of it

Ok, I gotcha. You said you rubbed the fender earlier, and I didn't really see how that was possible w/ a 17x7 +50. I was pretty sure you meant your tire just flat out rubbed the top of the fender well, lol.

This is just one place i rub... and this is not full turned...with no one in the car.

In the rear, I can barely fit a credit card in between the fender and my tire. I rub on every thing. Especially on Washington's bad ass roads.

Twis - How are your tires directly under the fender @ +50?

BTW, & this is directed @ everyone, not anyone in particular... Everyone's roads are bad, not just yours. ;)
