Aggressive fitment anyone?!

this thread is balls.

you guys with your 9" wide wheels and 205 tires are all idiots. i run a beneficial setup up that is aggressive too. 18x7.5 +42 235/40/18

you guys that have fun doing something different and have different opinions and outlooks on cars and modding are idiots.

be like us and all look the same!

i had to read this twice LMAO

So, back on topic. Thx to Wagon, always getting threads off-topic... (headshake

Hopefully I can get camber bolts on the rear tmrw night. Last week, the bolts there didn't want to budge, but I didn't try too hard. We'll see if some penetrating oil did the trick. Otherwise I'm stopping by my bro's to borrow his impact. Yay for air tools!

I think he stated it rather clearly.

i like the euro scene.. im ok with it looking like a vws brother.. at least its something different for a change. the amount of work that goes into those euro cars is amazing, and they look so clean. i dont understand why people just bash other cars if they dont have the "typical" appearance of a nice shiny car with subtle wheels and tire shine... **** that. im sick of looking at the same thing page after page... i like how the vdub guys actually try new things and venture elsewhere... if nobody ever did then you "typical" guys wouldnt have half the styles you have now..

who the **** wants a cf hood on their car??? it doesnt even match the cars paint!!!

idiots...

hehe... you expect to get only positive comments on your car no matter what you do to it? exploring new avenues and pushing the limits is important but it doesn't always lead to something brilliant. i could be the first guys to fit square wheels on his car but that doesn't automatically make it good.

hahaha true that!!!

i think i feed off the bad more then the good really haha..

im just being a smartass... im in one of those moods today.

Hmm...,i already order new struts, but i think that i will have to roll the fenders
and next time i buy tires i will use a low profile ones.

Your 50 sidewall is super high, thats taller than factory setup, IIRC. You woulda been better off with a 215/40. But I have a very similar setup with a 17x7, +40 and 215/45 tires. You will rub until you roll your fenders and/or dial down the camber. Camber bolts are a pretty easy fix with a light fender roll.

How low are you? Stock height? I'm dropped ~2"...

Stock height,i wouldn't consider go lower with the rubbing i have now (sad2)

How do you rub so badly? I'm lowered over 2" past where you sit, and I barely rub with the same offset. As soon as I get my camber bolts in the rear, I will have no rubs. Why did you get 50 sidewall tires? You need to roast those bad boys and get new 215/40, lol. And/or go back down to 205 if you want, but you shouldn't have problems.

On that note, buy a heat gun ($10) & a rubber mallet ($5) and roll your fenders... You can do the old baseball bat trick, but that can go wrong very quickly, so I feel safer going little by little with the rubber mallet. Heat gun will keep your paint from chipping. Don't be sad, get even with those fenders!
