AFR info

Ok so im looking for some information on what my afr should be on my car i have an 07 ms3 Gt with a few minor mods AP,inlet pipe,cai, and bpv. I just did a run and i noticed i have 14psi with 12.49 afr in third gear. Oh i almost forgot the highest knock ive noticed with the 1.05 map is 0.35 is that ok?

It depends on the engine load and RPM. 12.49 doesn't sound unreasonable.

tru, OP post a log so we can see. I just checked some WOT pulls myself and am at around 12.5 aft @ 13psi, but am already dropping fast to the 11.6-11.8 region

That is low boost for an AP car. I boost 18 psi with Stage1+SF93v105. My AF's are 11.7-11.9
 
I assumed that he was talking about th transition into boost. I hold 19psi and drop to 17 by redline
 
fyi cars that are DI like ours dont have any problems running 13afr's, even tho it seems hot it has been proven on plenty of DI platforms... I honestly think that if the OP's car is running 14psi with a 12.5afr that is perfectly acceptable. My car without meth will run up to about 12.3 afr at 18psi and its not an issue. The only reason to run it rich would be to cool some temps down and maybe quell some knock if it gets too lean. my car knocks when it gets lean and my egt's get a little high so I gotta keep the afr down.
