is there a way i can hook up the aem wideband so the afr is shown through the mpi sw? looking to buy a aem 6-1 wideband uego controller and a bit hard tuning while driving.

check if the AEM has an aux output you can program....

Innovate widebands has it. I dont know about the AEM

Like tim says, check the voltage on the wires. There should be a stock narrowband simulator wire, and if its less then 1v, tahts the one you want.

AEM unit comes with an Analog output (0-5v) & Serial output. So whatever Auxiliary that accepts an 0-5v input......

ok guys here my dilema there is a screw that will allow me to change it to 0-1v but i dunno which one to set it on there is 2 settings on the 0-1v. 1 is 0-1v afr autronic emulation and the 2nd one is 0-1v afr nernst emulation and on top of that the wire that goes to the mpi would be the white 0-5v depending on the setting which would be 0-1v or the blue wire which is serial output? i assume the white would be the one to the mpi correct?

also how would i connect it to the mpi? i know from your old thread that u took out the pink/blue wire which i think you said it was the #60pin wire. so i would connect the white 01v output wire to the mpi side to get it on the software but where would i connect the previous wire that went to the mpi? if im not making sense my bad kinda tired and its like midnight here lol

ok but what about the settings should i put it on 0-1v autronic emulation or should i have it on 0-1v nernst emulation, also about the wire that i took off of the mpi to hook up the wb02? what happens to that do i just leave it disconnected?

bigg tim where u at i need ur info on this since u did one a while back with a innovate wide band

Sorry, I've been busy with the new baby. I didn't do any settings, I just wired it in like you said above and it worked fine.

its all good bigg tim i know how that goes. but im a little lost with the mpi wiring process. so my 0-1v ouput on the aem goes to the mpi and what do i do with the wire that is soldered to the mpi now? do i just let it go or connect it to somewhere else?

bump does ne one know cuz i seriously wanna get tuning but its hard here cuz not to much straight aways to look at the gauge and then the software. really hard

k that sucks im starting to believe that the aem uego 6-1 can't be used on the mpi sw. i had it set to 0-1v and connected it just like bigg timm said and it is no where near the same as the wideband 02 gauge shows. but if someone knows how to get it to show the same afr on the mpi software plz let me know.

are you following the thread man? i never said street tuning not working i am saying that street tuning with me driving is not working. basically sayin that i like almost hit more oncoming cars that i can remember as of now, besides this isn't the mainland u know i live in hawaii the big island and there arent many straight aways nor do i have the chance to really tune due to the fact its gettin fucken over crowded here because everyone from cali and oregon love it here. like literally the best time for me to tune is like 3am when no one is on the road but that sux 2 cuz of the cops here.
