If you can find it ... ill trade you the CAI for it ... im afraid that damn filter is going to fall off ... its a b**** to get on there.

Why doesn't somebody on this board make an SRI? I don't imagine they are very expensive. I mean, byohndspeed made hardpipes for ~250, why cant someone make an SRI for ~150?

Didn't Billet design have a group buy for one? There wasn't much interest shown then if I remember correctly.

i wouldnt mind a SRI, but the problem with our cars is that they are useless unless we can get a heatshield too, though imagine that's the easy part.

I wouldnt worry about it ... thats what an IC is for.

exactly. I think the main reason that there was no interest in an SRI was because no one knew that a CAI and SRI function nearly identically in an intercooled vehicle. I would buy an SRI TODAY if someone built it for ~150 bucks. None of this 270 dollar crap for a CAI, that's rediculous.

I personally dont recommend NoLimit Motorsports.....yes, they have very competitive prices, but..........ive ordered 2 items from them in a span of 1 year, and got nothing but bulls***. I ordered an Eibach pro-kit from them over a year ago and waited 2 weeks for the springs and didnt recieve it........i called and they said that the've been trying to get ahold of me, and that the springs are on back-order. Thats all fine and dandy, give me my money back, ill go else where.....recieved money 4 days later.

I recently tried to order the UR crank pulley from them, and this time i called to see if they had the part in-stock first before i order. They told me yes, its in-stock as we speak....so i order it, and guess what 2 weeks go by and no pulley! I call and they say that the color i wanted is not in-stock but, will be in stock in a few days.....he said they have other colors that they can send me....i say ill wait for the color i want. 2 more weeks go by and no pulley! I call again, and they say its still not in stock.....so i say ill just take a different color if u can get it to me asap.....they say fine, it'll ship first thing tomorrow. I call the next day to make sure it ships, and they say that all pulleys are out of stock......**** U PAY ME!!! To finish this up quick, I receive my refund check 2 weeks later after about 4 more calls to them saying please send me my money.

Order at your own risk!

very true, and normally i wouldnt ask for a heatshield, but those damn cooling fans blow right into the area of the intake...

They did BIllet Design and there was a group buy that only drumed up a couple buyers. Everyone wants CAI

It is pretty weird...AEM dynos did say that the SRI gave better performance but the heatsheild would have made the unit not very cost effective. So they decided to go ahead with the CAI. My guess is thats a SRI for a NA protege that somehow got mixed up. There are alot of people turning the Injen into SRI.
