Aem Cai Intake Loud

when i am under a hard acceleration above 4000 rpm and quickly release the throttle i get a sound like its rattleing and its hittings against something. my buddy with a GTI said it was the suction of the intake... i have had CAI before but i have never heard such a hardcore rattle or suction thats almost annoying... any suggestions? or answers to the sound? i have checked and re-tightend all bolts... oh its only when im driving... not while i just rev the motor... im stumped

totally normal dude.... its your oem bypass valve echoing threw your new open design cai. the oem airbox was designed to muffle that sound away.

well... i actually have a turbo xs BOV so that may be it... But i actually took the center piece off today and the air deflector for the MAF was all sideways so i straightned that out... so that actually helped ith the sound alittle bit... Its not annoying... but my girlfriend hates it... It has grown on me!
