Advice needed on MSP3 stock Wheels&Tires

Hi i was wondering,to me the stock rear tire looks rather narrow for the cars appearance and stance etc.Do you think the stock wheel can accomodate a 245/45/18 tire i the rear without protruding from the fenders and without fitment issues on the wheel itself as it is only a 7.5" width,basically can it handel a 245 18" tire in the rear with a 7.5" stock wheel width.Also with staggered fitment can the difference in tire width be as much as 30cms like can i leave the stock front at 215 and put a 245 in the rear,would that affect handling adversley

245 in the rear will not clear the fenders, or if the offsets were high enough to tuck, it would rub the struts.

Is that with the stock wheels you mean?How about a 235/45 in the rear and 225/45 in the front is that ok?


Would this wheel be ok with 245/45 in the rear and 225/45 front with Yokohamas with 40C offset

If I understand you correctly, you want to put big tires on the back and smaller ones on the front on a FWD car? Weird!

Mazda has done an admirable job of creating a suspension on this car that is quite balanced. If you do this, you will make the car push which would be unfortunate.

Yes ofcourse for staggered fitment.How fat can i go in the front then.
