I have a 2006 Mazda 3 H/B....I seem to have a problem with tire wear. I would like to know which wheel gets more grip on the road. Is it the drivers side or the passenger side?

It depends on which direction you're turning.
Can you elaborate on your problem and maybe we can diagnose it.

If your talking about the front, it's the wheel with the least resistance. Left turn left wheel spins, Right turn right wheel spins. Strait line in my case the right tire spins if I'm the only one in the car. But it prolly goes back and forth to an extent.
