Adjusting volume causes station to change (2023 CX-5)

23 CX-5 Carbon NA, standard audio, no wireless Carplay. Example of problem: Using iphone 15 connected to audio via bluetooth, playing something, say a specific genre from Pandora, or the music from my phone. I then ask Alexa (have the Alexa dongle connected to USB port) to change the genre. Alexa executes my command nicely. Then I adjust the volume using the knob on the console and the genre jumps back to the previous play. I can ask Alexa to stop it, and it stops, but as soon as I adjust the volume it comes back. Using my phone, I can stop and remove that song from my phone screen, but adjusting the volume brings it back. I thought this was my phone, so away from my car I do the same just talking to the phone. No issues. It seems to be the car or the connection to the car that is the problem. Obviously, not a biggie, just annoying. Any thoughts very much appreciated.

Seems to me like some interaction with the Alexa module. Can you try updating the Alexa firmware?

RedBaron, thanks for your reply. It updates automatically and I can force an update with a push of a button on the device. I agree it seems to be something in the interface. Next step will be to remove and reinstall. Thanks Again, Tom
