I've been lookin at adjustable cam gears..Are they worth the money? (this is on a n/a m3 5dr mind you)...If they are what it the best timing advaced or retared and how much? Im just lookin to get the most power as possible. Does anybody have these ? How do you like them and was it worth the work and money? Thanks Brian

also if you guys have any website that have them let me know...i completly forgot the site i have found them on before and preferably the site with the most reasonable price....

i haven't heard of any available for our car... though if you look through the n/a stage 1-2-3 threads there is a way to bump up the timing advance a bit built in from the factory for a couple extra ponies...

and to properly figure out how far to advance your timing you should really have a widaband 02 sensor and use it to figure out where your mixture is at and how it changes when you advance the timing, also be weary of knock

There is some!!!!!!!

You can use the Focus 2.3L adj cam gears. I wouldn't recommend them, unless u plan opn getting some cams and upgrading ur valvetrain.

Are you planning to defeat the VVT (variable valve timing) and go with a fixed valve timing?

Its' actually called VCT(varibla cam timing), it's a Mazda, not a Toyota
A quote from the Mazda USA website:

"2.3L DOHC 4-cylinder with VVT and 2-balance shafts"

Are you going to write a letter to Mazda and correct them also?
