Adding heated mirrors

I did it! Thanks to ICSPOTS for the writeup. Worked out perfectly.

The first one took about an hour, mostly because of uncharted territory. The second one took about 20 minutes.

Very cool and very necessary mod!

Did you just use wires taps to get the power from the car's harness? If not what did you do?

I snipped the green and black wires at the connector, stripped a bit of the insulation and put a spade connector there. Then used some 18 ga. lamp cord to extend to the mirror. I thought about soldering the extention, but I wanted to keep the ability to disconnect it if needed.

Cool. I thought about clipping mine but actually didn't have enough spade connectors..... had lots of wire taps though. :lol:
