Adding Fog Lights Mazda 2 Sport

Anyone added Mazda Fog Lights on their Sport? I was wondering if you knew if the wiring is already there. The dealer quoted me two different prices to install one being much higher if the wiring is not already there.

the wiring is already there. Its attached to the blank covers.

what was the dealership trying to soak ya for the lights... i believe mine was over 700$ in Canada!!!

Cost of Fog lights $379 Cost to install if the car already has wires $252. If car has no wires $450

To avoid getting bent over a barrel by the dealer, just take off the blanks before you bring it in for the install. There's no reason why your car shouldn't have the wiring already there.

I actuall just installed hid fogs on my 2011, i used bezels from Rock Auto, ordered factory Brackets from onlinemazdaparts, and the oem fog switch from an ebay seller for 50, all together i spent 200, and looks great, i do need some shrouds to help fill the gap between bezel opening, and projector. Looks better and has more light at almost half the cost.

Post some pics if you could. I've been considering upgrading my fogs to a projector unit as well. I really have no idea which one to go with though.

Hey before you get bent over any barrel, check this thread, he just had blank fog covers but found that a set from another mazda car/model was an exact fit, if your unsure of anything give him a PM as I think he has a service/users manual that covers all the bases (wiring etc)
