Add on system

What all do I need to add an in dash DVD player to the factory head? I like the sound from my BOSE system and the functionality of the steering wheel controlls. I realize it would be easier to just replace the factory head. I'm thinking about trying to retro fit the euro climate control(if it's possible).

I'm also going to add a sub. Can I patch into the rear speaker wires and use one of those converters to run to my amp? If so, are there any 'How To' topics of how to go about it?

Thanks in advance!!

with the bose system you should already have a sub... if you want a bigger sub/more powerful you are going to have to run new power wire (not a biggie you just can't use what is there already is all) also if you want to keep the factory deck (i recomend) you would need a loc (line out converter) www.davidnavone.com has what you need and they are the head of the pack on that kind of stuff... as far as adding an input to your stock stereo for the sound from a dvd player you need to look here.
http://www.sylfex.com/products/AuxMod/ there is a waiting list but it is one of the cheaper solutions and i haven't heard one bad thing about it... my roomate has one for his 6 and loves it...

as far as retro fitting the climate control for the eurospec version i am pretty sure it was found that the wiring/computer programming isn't there in the north american version so you can't just plug and play... it would require a s*** load of work for climate control...
