ok lang I'll do it for now :) **please sticky this**

ok so I feel that I can be the acting President of M-SPEC in the meantime until I can no longer fulfill the pres. duties due to my near future career plans. ;)

since I am new at all of this and I dont know who everyone is, please pm me your SN, Real Name, e-mail addy, and AIM SN if you have one. FYI: this will give me a base line of who the members are because I know there are people that have come to like one cruise that have a club shirt shirt or decal that totally forgot there was an M-SPEC.

so here is my scope on how I want to handle "meets". I plan to schedule more social events such as track nights, bowling, mini meets (@ places other than vineyard zippys), BBQ's, cruises, etc. and the probational membership rule is still in effect. Club events will not be events that have to be stressed over to be attended (of course) but if you dont, you're the one missing out :D j/k but please try to attend whatever events you can...

next I would like to touch base on the club about the club logo. not that the past logos werent hott but I am turning towards a more plain logo that will be placed on the same location on ALL members rides. I ask that whoever got skills please design a logo (chris, ash...) and the logo will be voted on and produced in batches. note: you must be past the probational membership in order to run the decal.

also I want to have a mechanic club shirt produced (cause you know those are hott) :) I will shop around and also look into the interest of the club on this and see if its worth producing. so just keep your ears open until further notice.

**please PM me with any questions or concerns...

more to come...

-mike

I can do my best to help out in whatever way i can. I can work on design work, and i plan on getting a new club shirt out, and make more of them, so i can have them on hand whenever new people join.

As for the club mechanic shirts, we don't do embroidering, but i'm sure the airbrush store in windward mall can probably do them, since they do embroidering on shirts and hats. And, my friends GF works there, so i can try get a deal for us if possible.

*edit*

no complaints here :)

ill get my lazy ass up and start designing. if someone draws it and scans it, i can retrace it in illustrator. im nuts, so id run it on my windshield like how it looks in my sig, but idk how many of you would be down for that.

i suggest one in the front, rear, and each side of the car, but idk if you guys would be down for that many stickers

ppsshhh, too much stickers? I got more than that right now. hahaha, but i'm always willing to take em off and put on new stickers. So Chris, me and you, let's get some stuff whipped up.

yea guys, let see what you got...

and I like the idea of the locations of the logos.
(on the front lip, bottom of the rear doors, and one on the rear)
and maybe even give the JDM effect and make the passenger side reverse mirrored :D

Ho yups, the sticker on the front lip would look dope, i see that on some cars and it looks nice. I really like the sticker on the quarter panel window, going upward, parallel with the window. That's nice stuff. And that reverse "JDM" mirrored idea sounds pretty TOIGHT!

(bump) on the "JDM" reverse mirror idea!

i found out mechanic shirts can be purchased from sears for like $15.

oh cool, i can dig $15 how much is it 2 embroider? thx 4 researching chris. oh, and would it b possible 2 find something in my size? i figure they'll b men's sizes.

i'ma feel all cool with a mechanic shirt, but than i'll feel stupid when i'll know nothing about cars and such like that. hahaha. I'm in though.

mike, can we start an mspec sticky thread of who drives what, brief mod list, location of where they live (area) and other stuff.

im having a hard time remembering ppl, esp from the other night

Wut up Mike...
<<<<<John the guy that bought your EQ....
Let me know when you guys are gonna get together again. Im looking forward to joining...

let me know if you need any help with anything Chris. You know i'm down.

I'll get rolling on some shirts too. I'll just print something up already, and mass produce, for future use, like car cruises, photoshoots, car shows, and so forth.

we should make a PHAT banner too. haha.

okay, i'm getting too excited, i'll stop talking.
