I debating on which clutch to get. The price goes towards ACT bc it comes with a flywheel but not sure how light it is against the Fidenza. Please help me out

Spec W fidenza =975
ACT street w/flywheel =715

HELP ME OUT!

the ACT certainly is a cheaper product when you factor in everything you have to order to get both with the Spec. Spec offers a wider array of options in terms of overall torque.

my personal vote goes to ACT right now. i have found the warranty to be more forgiving on them. they have a very established reputation. the clutch is a no nonsense product that does what it sets out to do. arguably the Spec line drives "nicer" more like a stock unit would. but if i had to choose and i owned a speed3 or 6 my choice would be ACT.

thanks ken. i know this is not the right place but what is the price for install on the act. You can pm me if you want.

My vote fors the ACT. I have it on my miata and its very nice. So I bet it will be just as nice on the MS3.

Not sure what the Spec/Fiddy combo weighs in at, but just threw the ACT package on the scale and it came to 32.5lbs (that is including all the packaging, so actual component weight is probably 29ish).

Go with the ACT. The only thing you might not like is how loud this thing is. If you are vary anal about noise and the like you might not like it.

I'm currently running this clutch with the TRZ tranny mount and let me tell you- when you hear that throwout bearing- you will think something is wrong but it's not.

The clutch by the nature of design, the fact that it's lighter, etc doesn't absorb as much noise as the stock one.

Trust me, it won't be no where near as quiet as the stock one.... especially if you run brand new engine mounts/tranny mount.
