I got the act clutch and I got a little problems with shifting 1gear and rear. anybody experienced any problems with it?

Sorry, I'm not sure what the act clutch is, but I'm having a similar issue, after I've been driving it for about 30 minutes. It seems fine when the car is cold, but after a while it's hard to shift into 1st & 2nd gear & Reverse grinds. Mine is not a Speed6, but I have an Exedy Stage 1.

Hopefully somebody that is knowledgable can chime in here.

It sounds like your clutch pedal may need to be adjusted. The plunger that attaches to the pedal and actuates the master cylinder may be adjusted out too far, preventing the slave cylinder from disengaging the clutch completely.

Thank you. I don't mean to thread jack here.
My clutch pedal assembly was cracked & has been welded back together, so I'm thinking the pedal assembly is probably the issue with mine. I have a replacement on order.

piotrekkb: This brings me to advise you may want to check your pedal assembly to see if it has cracked or fractured. I've been told that the Rx8's were recalled for the same issue. Perhaps Mazda should look into the same issue on the 6.

they put a new slave cylinder and it got worse. I have not checked the pedal my mechanic is doing it all so I have no idea. they say the clutch itself has a defect. so we are waiting for a new one to see whats gonna happen. How do they adjust the pedal?

Just a though, I've used many ACT clutches but only on Nissan cars. I've always had really good luck with them, but the throwout bearing that they supply has always been really cheap and prone to acting up/breaking, etc. So after the first clutch job and using the ACT throwout bearing, I've always used a stock throwout bearing with the ACT clutch and never had any issues.
